Story Line:
Raja Azaad Singh rules over his people with compassion and fairness, and as result this region prospers. His wife, Durga, gives birth to a son, and there is considerable jubilation amongst his subjects. Then the British decide to take over his region, Azaad fights bravely, but he is outnumbered, both he and Durga are taken prisoner and made to work as slaves. Loyal subjects assist in getting their son out of the region, where he is adopted by a kind woman Jamuna and her husband. Years later, while Durga, who has lost the use of her vocal chords, and Azaad are still slaves, their son, now named Raju, drives a horse-carriage (tonga) with a horse named Badal and a loyal dog named Moti; woos a proud and snobbish Rajkumari named Ruby, the daughter of Britisher Dr. Harry. When the British find out about Raju’s royal blood, they enmesh Azaad and him in web of lies of deceit, forcing them to a combat with each other in an open arena. Watch how father and son unknowingly fight each other, knowing fully well that only one of them will survive to tell this tale.

Story Line :
Amitabh Bachchan is a strict, disciplinary principal of a school. He does not believe in love and thinks that if one has to be successful in life, he or she has to shun love. Three young students Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj and Jimmy Shergil join the school and soon fall in love with Shamita Shetty, Kim Sharma and Preeti Jhangiani respectively. But they are frightened of the consequenses and keep their feelings in their heart. Sharukh Khan, a strong advocate of love joins the school as a music teacher and encourages the trio to shed their fear and exhibit their love. The rest of the movie is how the three students express their love and why Sharuk is encouraging them.

Sikandar is an orphan, abused and abandoned at a young age, who finds work with a wealthy man and comfort in the friendship of his daughter Kaamna (Rakhee). Soon, however, he’s falsely accused of stealing and thrown out of the house. Working hard, he eventually becomes successful and respected, but he never stops loving Kaamna–not even after a beautiful dancer named Zohra (Rekha) falls for him, making him the target of her lover’s vengeful fury, or after Kaamna falls for Sikandra’s best friend Vikas (Vinod Khanna). Equal parts action and romance, with vibrant musical numbers and strong performances, this powerhouse of a drama has something to appeal to all viewers.

Story Line :Somnath (Somu) Rajesh Khanna lives in a slum in Delhi with his widowed mom, and unmarried sister, Sarla. He is friendly with Calcutta-based wealthy Vikram (Viky) Amithabh . When Vicky’s dad, Damodar, has a heart attack, Vicky takes his fathers place and had problem with the union leader Bipinlal Pandey. Later Viky appolosies and to teach him a lesson he bring Somu gets a job as a laborer in his mill, befriends his fellow-workers, gets some monetary relief to injured workers, amongst other benefits, is elected as the union leader replacing Bipinlal. Story Line:
Young Arjun (Amitabh Bachchan) is brought up by his Daddu (Om Prakash). His Daddu decides for him to go to the city in search of a new job and life. While in the city he meets up with Bhairon (Ram P. Sethi) who guides him into finding a job as a servant in a 5-star hotel owned by Raja (Shashi Kapoor). While in the hotel, Arjun meets Poonam (Smita Patil) and falls in love with her. During this time, many attempts are made to kill Raja by the one and only Girdar Singh (Satyendra Kapoor) and his son Ranjeet (Ranjeet). Arjun looks up to Savitridevi who manages the hotel, until he finds out that Savitridevi is his biological mother, and that the Raja believes that she is involved in a plot to kill him . What happens to Arjun and Raja is the rest of the movie.

Story Line:
After the retirement of his dad, the onus is on Bharat to look after the Delhi-based family. He has two younger college-going brothers, Deepak and Vijay, and a sister of marriage age, Radha. Bharat is a graduate, but is unable to secure any employment, much to the frustration of his girlfriend, Sheetal. Vijay takes step to secure his own future, by turning to crime, which is strongly opposed by Bharat, and as a result Vijay leaves the house. Mohan is Sheetal’s boss, and finds her very attractive. When he proposes marriage, she accepts, and soon both are married. This leaves Bharat devastated, unable to deal with life, and unable to afford the basic needs of Roti (food), Kapada (Clothing), and Makaan (Shelter), he must now decide to carry on honestly, or otherwise.
