Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens to fill up vacancies in following ranks in Central Reserve Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India :
  1. Sub Inspector (Radio Operator) : 33 posts, Pay Scale :PB-2 9300-34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-, Age : Between 20 and 25 years.
  2. Sub Inspector (Crypto) : 03 posts, Pay Scale :PB-2 9300-34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-, Age : Between 20 and 25 years.

112th Technical Graduates Course (TGC) (January 2012)

Applications are invited from Engineering Graduates male Indian citizens for 112th Technical Graduates Course (TGC), Post Graduate (Non-Engineering) entry into Army Eduction Corps (AEC) in the Indian Army.

  • 112th TGC : (a) Engineers : 57 posts (Civil-11, Electrical-8, Mechanical-8, Computer Science-5, Telecom-10, Electronics-06, IT-4, Production-3, Architecture-1, Food Tech./ Bio-Tech. - 1) (b) AEC- Post Graduates - Economics/ Pol. Science/ Geography/ History/ Physics/ Mathematics - 2) (C) Military Farms - 1
  • Qualification : TGC : A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised univsersity, AEC - MA/ M.Sc. degree from a recognised university in 1st or IInd division in the concerned subjects, Military Farms - Degree in Dairying or Degree in Agriculture
  • Age : TGC : 20 to 27 years. Born between 02 January 1984 and and 01 January 1991, AEC - 23-27 years born between 02 January 1984 and not later than 01 Jan 1988.
  • Physical Standard: min. height 157.5 cm , better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18
  • Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.54oo plus Military Service Pay and other allowances (During the training, the candidates will get Rs.21000/- as Stipend
Method of Selection: Initial Screening and short listing of applicants will be done at Recruiting Directorate Army Headquarters. Selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fives selection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.

Become a Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Education Branch

Course Commencing - January 2011


Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2011 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin Ezhimala, Kerala.
Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1986 to 01 January 1990; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : A Post Graduate with minimum 50% marks in Physics (with Maths in B.Sc.) or Mathematics (with Physcis in B.Sc.) or Chemistry (with Maths and Physcis at B.Sc. level Or English or in Histroy.

Physical Standards : Height and Weight : Minimum height Male - 157 cms and Female - 152 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 connectable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
